     Another extraordinary event in Cannon County is the Valhalla Shakespeare Project.  The Valhalla Shakespeare Project  will be performing the following shows in 2005:

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
October 22-23 3:00 p.m. at Valhalla Farms

BRING: family and friends, blanket or lawn chair, food, libation and a sense of adventure.

DO NOT BRING: money – it’s free.

Directions: Valhalla Farms (the home of Jim, Jean & Elizabeth Keathley) are at 3081 Jimtown Road in Cannon County.

From the Murfreesboro/Nashville area: Take I-24 East to Exit 81B the Murfreesboro side of the Murfreesboro/Shelbyville Exit. Turn right at the first red light onto South Rutherford. Turn Right at the third red light onto John Bragg Highway. Follow the John Bragg Highway approximately 11 miles to Bradyville Road (Highway 64) at the yellow flashing traffic light.  Turn right onto Bradyville Rd. and after  3/4 mile, turn left onto Burt-Burgen Road. At about 1.2 mile, turn left on Burt Lane. Follow the double yellow line on Burt Lane for about 2.3 miles.  At the ‘Y’ intersection, take the left fork onto Jimtown Road. Valhalla Farms will be about 1/4 mile on the right side, surrounded by a white fence. Follow the signs.

From the Manchester/ Chattanooga area: Take I-24 North to Exit 110, the Woodbury/Manchester Exit. Turn right and go approximately 23 miles north on Hwy. 53. Turn Left at the first red light in Woodbury onto Hwy. 70S. The town square of Woodbury is only one block away. Continue to follow Hwy. 70S towards Murfreesboro for approximately 5 miles.  Turn left onto Bradyville Road (Highway 64)  at the yellow flashing traffic light. Drive about 3/4 mile, turn left onto Burt-Burgen Road  and go about 1.2 mile, turn left on Burt Lane. Follow the double yellow line on Burt Lane for about 2.3 miles. From the Smithville/ Knoxville area: Take I-40 West to Exit 273, the McMinnville/Smithville exit. Turn left and take Hwy. 56 south into the town of Smithville. Turn right on Hwy. 70 go two blocks and turn left on Hwy. 146. When Hwy. 146 dead ends turn right on Hwy. 70S and drive 10 miles into the town of Woodbury. Pass through Woodbury and continue to follow Hwy. 70S towards Murfreesboro for approximately 5 more miles.  Turn left onto Bradyville Road (Highway 64)  at the yellow flashing traffic light. Drive about 3/4 mile, turn left onto Burt-Burgen Road  and go about 1.2 mile, turn left on Burt Lane. Follow the double yellow line on Burt Lane for about 2.3 miles. At the ‘Y’ intersection, take the left fork onto Jimtown Road. Valhalla Farms will be about 1/4 mile on the right side, surrounded by a white fence. Follow the signs.
